Arroz Con Vocabulary

I just wanted to share a really cool FREE website that I've just gotten addicted to: http://www.freerice.com. It's basically a vocabulary site that asks you to match a word with it's correct meaning out of four possibilities. Words get harder and your vocab level increase for every definition you get right.

The cool thing is that for every correct word, the site DONATES 20 GRAINS of rice to the United Nations World Food Program. After some internet research, 7,200 grains = 1 Cup of rice! Who would've known? I don't think I could've counted each grain. "One... two.. three... ...four-hundred-fifty-two, or was that four-hundred-fifty-three? Uh... Crap! One... two...three..." It's cool to know that by taking the time to feed your mind, you're also doing a part, as small as it may seem, to end world hunger!

Note: if you want to keep track of how many grains of rice you've donated and your vocabulary level, go to the OPTIONS tab BEFORE you start, and click on the "Please do remember... " and 'Set options' buttons. I learned this the hard way after playing the game for a couple of hours, my "score" was erased after closing the browser and coming back.
